Cabocom once again innovates by launching the first official Counter Strike Source Server in Sal

Now, all Cabocom ((Livre)) customers can play online and compete. In addition to the server Cabocom has also put online a ranking page where the players can visualize their statistics and overall ranking.

The main purpose of this project is to introduce the online gaming community concept in Cape Verde using a game that has become a huge worldwide hit since the early 2000’s.

Once a high enough number of players has been achieved, Cabocom will create a Pro League in which real prizes will be awarded and the opportunity to participate in international competitions will be given to the winners.

To adhere to this new concept and to the Counter Strike Source Community all that customers need to do is send an e-mail to cstrike@cabocom.cv with the subject: “I want to play!” and full instructions on how to play will be sent over.

To know more about this game go to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Counter-Strike Source.

Wireless Internet is just the beginning

Cabocom S.A. is a telecommunications company that has showed up in the Cape Verdean market to implement a completely different concept in the internet providing services and to revolution the existing technologies.

Apart from having very competitive prices, the great novelty introduced by Cabocom is a completely wireless internet service named ((Livre)). As the name of this services clearly states, this system allows total freedom and mobility enabling the user to work from anywhere with total commodity and comfort and being ideal for tourists, companies, residents and any other visitors to the island.

Having a really easy access, residents and all those living in Santa Maria on a more permanent basis can use the system by making a monthly subscription. Tourists and general visitors are not left out and can also access the internet by using vouchers that can be purchased in the company’s office, at an authorized agent and, in most of the cases, in their hotel’s reception.

In a place with such an excellent climate and perfect beaches, Cabocom’s ((Livre)) wireless internet has turned out to be the perfect working tool allowing people to do their work or simply browse the internet without missing out the lovely sunny days.

Santa Maria, in Sal Island, already has full ((Livre)) coverage and the company is already expanding the system so that very soon it will also be covering the village of Espargos. The next step will be moving on to the other island until full national coverage has been achieved.

Cabocom’s CEO, Miguel Lopes, states “We, at Cabocom, aim to provide, first and foremost, a quality and efficient service. Our system ((Livre)) has allowed everyone to have an easy wireless access to the internet, making people’s lives much easier. Simultaneously, our purpose in implementing this new technology is to bring a new direction to the telecommunications market and open the doors to the entrance of several other new technologies, thus contributing for the already ongoing development. ”
