Havana, Jan 16, (RHC).- Cuban President Raul Castro met on Thursday with the Prime Minister of Cape Verde Jose Maria Neves who is on an official visit to Cuba.
Raul transmitted greetings by the leader of the Revolution Fidel Castro to the African leader, and the people of Cape Verde for their expression of solidarity.
Neves affirmed that his solidarity with Cuba is in consequence with the long friendship between both nations and Cuba’s support in the liberation struggle of Cape Verde and today it’s the socio economic cooperation mainly in the fields of health, education and agriculture.
Also present in the meeting with the Cuban president was Cape Verde’s ambassador to Cuba Crispina Gomes.
